Job description
- Join the Cloud Platform team responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining the resources in Azure
- Assist with new cloud technology implementations and migrations towards the cloud
- Set up monitoring and alerting for our critical Azure resources and business applications
- Aid in implementing and enforcing governance though the Azure governance capabilities
- Automate cloud workload deployments using CI/CD pipelines
- Offer third-line support to internal teams and to the teams of our other business units
Job requirements
- Experience in working with core Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, including Virtual Machine (Scale Sets), Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Functions, API Management instances, and others
- Good understanding of Azure networking concepts and components like Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Application Gateways, and Load Balancers
- Experience with Azure governance capabilities: Management Groups, Azure Policy, Blueprints, and inventory management
- Used to working with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics workspaces
- Knowledge of orchestration and automation tools and services like Automation Accounts (runbooks) and Logic Apps
- Experienced in “Infrastructure as code”, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management and automation tools like Azure DevOps or Terraform
- Knowledge of command-line tools for managing Azure resources, mainly PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Experience with micro-service and containerization technologies like Service Fabric or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of IAM (SAML/OAuth/OIDC, Azure AD), MFA, and RBAC
- Knowledge of other cloud vendors is a plus
- Agile methodologies are not unknown to you
- Ability to work together in a group of one or more engineers to address a goal
- Eager to learn new things and keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies
- Fluent in English
- 2 – 3 years working as a cloud engineer
